The study "Changes in the lives of children during war" by the research company Gradus, conducted in April 2022, shows that 50% of children between the ages of 0 and 18 have severe the level of mental health worsened, and 75% of children had specific symptoms: 45% – mood swings, 49% – increased anxiety, 29% – sleep disturbances, 16% – deterioration of memory, attention, learning ability, 14% – outbursts aggression. Children who were forced to leave their homes and continued their education in new cities and new schools needed special attention.
WHEN WE LEARNED ABOUT THESE STATISTICS, IT BECAME A SHOCK FOR US AND WE STARTED THIS PROJECT. WE NEED YOUR HELP IN SUPPORT OF THIS INITIATIVE
GOAL #1:
TWO YEARS OF PASSIVE LIFE OF CHILDREN DURING COVID AND NOW ALMOST A YEAR OF BRUTAL WAR HAVE MADE CHANGES IN CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT. BUT CHILDREN MUST STUDY FOR A SUCCESSFUL FUTURE.
GOAL #2:
THE WAR IS DESTROYING THE UKRAINIAN LABOR MARKET. THE MILITARY ACTIONS TAKE PLACE IN AREAS ( TOWNS, VILLAGES, ETC) WHERE MANY EDUCATION WORKERS HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED. TEACHERS HAVE TAUGHT THEIR PUPILS ONLINE FROM BASEMENTS, BOMB SHELTERS, EVEN FRONT-LINE TRENCHES, AND NOW MANY OF THEM ARE VOLUNTEERING. BUT THE MAIN TASK OF THESE TEACHERS IS STILL TO TEACH AND HAVE THE MEANS TO LIVE.
GOAL #3:
THESE PARENTS ARE OFTEN FORCED TO BE WITH THEIR CHILD 24 HOURS A DAY WHICH ALSO AFFECTS THEIR MORAL AND PHYSICAL CONDITION.
THEREFORE, IF NECESSARY, WE FIND A PSYCHOLOGIST FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF THESE PARENTS WHO MAY NEED IT.
The main task is to find sponsors and collect donations from like-minded people who share our philosophy. We take care of all organizational issues.
